Individual counselling service is provided to students to enhance their personal development and capabilities in handling their personal issues in social, psychological, financial and other aspects. Students in need are encouraged to approach the Student Counsellor for help. Through counselling, students could gain better self-awareness, autonomy, and objectiveness in the pursuit of personal goals. All information shared with the Student Counsellor will be kept in strict confidence.

Psychological assessment tools are provided at the Student Affairs Office for students for better self-understanding. Areas of assessment include personality, study and career.

The Student Counsellor provides personal development training programmes to students. Talks, workshops and training courses are organized for students to enhance their self-awareness and sensitivity, to acquire social and study skills and to develop their potential.

Information and assistance are also available for new and/or non-local students to facilitate their adjustment to the new environment.
