As an art form, Chinese Traditional Opera has been widely recognised as a unique and supreme example of total theatre, manifested through four stylised performance elements of 'operatic singing, acting, speech and movement'.

The Academy now offers a four-year solid foundation training in Cantonese Opera performance at the Diploma and Advanced Diploma level to enable students to become professional Cantonese Opera actors.
