Introduction to Canvas (For Teaching Staff)

This workshop introduces you to Canvas, the Academy’s Learning Management System (LMS). This is a hands-on workshop that guides you through some basic features of Canvas. It is designed for teachers new to using Canvas and covers the following topics:

• Adjusting course setting and managing participants 
• Creating pages and adding content 
• Creating assignments and grading on Canvas 
• Making announcement 
• Using the gradebook 
• Onsite support for more complex features

VPN & Remote Networking Technical Workshop (For Staff)

This workshop guides you how to set up remote-work securely. Join EDuIT’s hands-on workshop for a better understanding of remote access and Virtual Private Network (VPN) usage. A VPN serves as a secure mechanism for establishing virtual point-to-point connections between devices and networks. By utilizing remote access via VPN, users can securely work from outside the office while ensuring encrypted traffic for maximum security of applications and data. With a proper setup of VPN, the risk of private information disclosure or data sniffing can be significantly minimized, thereby mitigating cybersecurity threats. During the workshop, we will provide a demonstration on setting up VPN client application and address frequently asked questions to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
