Acclaimed film, TV and stage actor Mr Tse Kwan-ho was graduated from the School of Drama in 1989 and majored in acting. He was the chief actor of the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre. He performed in over 70 stage productions, including To Kill or to be Killed, The Mad Phoenix, Pygmalion, Magic is the Moonlight, The Umbrella Story, A Sentimental Journey, Love in a Fallen City, Secret of Resurrection, The Liaisons, Tonnochy, etc. In 2013, The Mad Phoenix was rerun in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore.

 

He was awarded the “Best Actor” for his leading role in The Mad Phoenix at the 34th Taiwan’s Golden Horse Awards and nominated for the “Best Actor” at the Hong Kong Film Awards. He was also nominated for the “Best Supporting Actor” for his performance in Ordinary Heroes at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

 

His brilliant performance in theatre, film and television has earned him respect and credits in the performing arts industry. The Academy Alumni Association has invited him to share his story of success with students, alumni and the public in his alma mater.

 

The programme is open to public. Free seating and first-come-first-served. Please queue up at the reception counter of Amphitheatre 30 minutes before the programme starts for entry.
