Biography
Eric Lui graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and obtained Advance Diploma in Stage Management in 1991 and Master of Fine Art in Technical Direction in 2012. After graduation, he served as the resident stage manager of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the production manager of the Chung Ying Theatre Company, and the resident technical manager of the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department - New Territories South. He is currently a senior lecturer in production management of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He has participated in the stage and production management, sound design, music composition for many Hong Kong and overseas performing groups. He used to be an external advisory member and guest lecturer of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts – School of Theatre Entertainment Arts. He used to be the committee member of the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies. He used to be the honorary secretary and committee member of the Hong Kong Association of Theatre Technician & Scenographers and is currently an examiner of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council – Drama & Arts Administration.
