iPAT PROJECT LEADER INTERVIEWS

The overarching aim of iPAT was to provide busy Academic staff (~18 in total over the period 2017 – 2019) with dedicated time (~20% release) and resourcing ($169,990 in funding*) to co-develop with performing arts eLearning consultants and educational designers a specific teaching and learning project.

iPAT proposals were framed around a learning and teaching challenge and aligned with one or more of the broader Academy Strategic Initiatives drawn from below:

  • Enhancing the use of Technology and eLearning
  • Interdisciplinarity / Interschool
  • Building on connections to Industry / Internship / Alumni
  • The Curriculum Review Process and PAR
  • Internationalization

Academy staff have now successfully applied for 23 of the proposed 18 iPat projects. The significant uptake of Academy staff in proposing these 23 projects highlights the interest in utilizing technology to support student learning at the Academy.
