The Registry, in close collaboration with Schools, academic departments and administrative units, facilitates the development and implementation of academic regulations and institutional policies. It delivers key academic services spanning the full study cycle, from admission through to graduation. As the executive arm for quality assurance and enhancement, the Registry supports programme approval, monitoring and review processes, internal and external accreditation exercises, and administration of student surveys. It also provides secretarial support to academic governance bodies, including the Academic Board and its institutional-level committees.

 

The Administrative Assistant (Registry) will provide secretarial support to the Registrar & Principal Head (Student Experience), and offer administrative and executive support across various Registry functions, including the academic quality assurance activities, boards and committees, student surveys, admissions, event coordination, e-filing project, and general office administration, as well as perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

 

Applicants should possess:
(a) A recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification;
(b) Normally, at least one year of relevant working experience, preferably in higher educational institution;
(c) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
(d) Sound numerical sense and high level of computer literacy;
(e) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail; and
(f) The ability to manage multiple tasks independently and perform effectively under pressure.

 

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement. A gratuity payment may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
