The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts welcomes the appointment of Mr Edward Cheng Wai-sun as new Council Chairman of the Academy and Dr Raymond Chan, Ms Stella Lau Yin-ling, Mr Andrew Leung Chun-keung, Ms Tang Yuen-ha, and Ms Wong Caroline Ho as new members of the Academy Council as appointed by the Chief Executive of HKSAR Government. 

The Academy would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the outgoing Council Chairman, Professor Stephen Chow Chun-kay for his significant contributions to the Academy in the past six years. The Academy is also grateful to the outgoing members of the Council including Dr Anthony Chow Wing-kin, Ms Yvonne Shing Mo-han, Mr Leon Ko Sai-tseung, Ms Anna Kwong Sum-yee and Mr Alvin Yiu Cheuk-man for their staunch support to the Academy over the years.
