董显亮（董言）于香港城市大学中文及历史学系获博士学位，现为香港浸会大学饶宗颐国学院副研究员。他目前的研究项目包括，与香港中文大学图书馆合作策划之开放式数位档案「黎海宁舞蹈典藏」，以及对香港舞蹈学科史的批判书写。即将出版的著作包括合编文集Still Jumping: Mediated Performance and the Moving Image Across Asia and the Global Stages 2000–2024（手民，2025），该书源于对「跳格香港国际舞蹈影像节」的回顾与研究；另有章节「Dramaturgy and Reform during Social Crisis in Hong Kong’s City Contemporary Dance Company」，将收录于Dramaturgy and Decolonization in Global Theatre and Performance（Bloomsbury，2025）。其论文「From Tu-feng-wu to Western Folk Dance: Civic Engagement, Translocal Knowledge, and Institutionalized Amateurism in Cold War Hong Kong (1949 to 1970s)」亦在学术审查中。除学术研究外，董氏亦活跃于剧场构作实践，持续与本地艺术家及艺术机构合作。
