董顯亮（董言）於香港城市大學中文及歷史學系獲博士學位，現為香港浸會大學饒宗頤國學院副研究員。他目前的研究項目包括，與香港中文大學圖書館合作策劃之開放式數位檔案「黎海寧舞蹈典藏」，以及對香港舞蹈學科史的批判書寫。即將出版的著作包括合編文集Still Jumping: Mediated Performance and the Moving Image Across Asia and the Global Stages 2000–2024（手民，2025），該書源於對「跳格香港國際舞蹈影像節」的回顧與研究；另有章節「Dramaturgy and Reform during Social Crisis in Hong Kong’s City Contemporary Dance Company」，將收錄於Dramaturgy and Decolonization in Global Theatre and Performance（Bloomsbury，2025）。其論文「From Tu-feng-wu to Western Folk Dance: Civic Engagement, Translocal Knowledge, and Institutionalized Amateurism in Cold War Hong Kong (1949 to 1970s)」亦在學術審查中。除學術研究外，董氏亦活躍於劇場構作實踐，持續與本地藝術家及藝術機構合作。
