Biography
Mr Jit Lam is a Lecturer in Media Technology in the School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
Mr Lam obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Technical Arts from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Upon graduation, Mr Lam has worked as a freelancer, contributing his expertise to various performances as a lighting designer, multimedia designer, and programmer. Beyond the theatre, Mr Lam’s professional reach extends to concerts, commercial events, and exhibitions. He provides specialised services for various organisations and brands, including 3D Projection Mapping, Multi-projection System, Control System Programming and Technical Consultancy.
Mr Lam is dedicated to the integration of technology and design, constantly exploring the practical applications where art meets technology. His recent notable works include: East Kowloon Cultural Centre Artist-in-Residence “Song From FAR Away / FAR Away From Song”, Hong Kong Dance Company “STORM CLOUDS”, Chung Ying Theatre Company “Land for A Land”, 4321Music “The Evolution(s) by Visible Music” “CelLink Odyssey by Visible Music”, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra “the Wheel of Time”.
