Biography
Mr Dan Fong is a Lecturer in Media Production and Technology in the School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Mr Fong is a digital visual artist and video designer. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong.
Mr Fong is passionate about visual experimentation and design across various media platforms. Over the years, he has been extensively involved in the visual and video design for theatre productions, concerts, and exhibitions. His collaborating performing arts groups span multiple disciplines, including Zuni Icosahedron, Windmill Grass Theatre, W Theatre, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Hong Kong Dance Company, City Contemporary Dance Company, Hong Kong Ballet, Theatre du Pif, and Tsang Man-tung's Theatrical Meditation.
Since 2010, Mr Fong has been taking on the role of live digital visual designer for concerts, collaborating with singers and bands from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan on performances that have toured multiple cities. Additionally, he has directed several music videos, such as Ellen Loo's "Darling", Chochukmo's "8", and TFVSJS's "Shrine of Our Despair".
