Mr Anthony Chung is a Lecturer in Visual Screen Art Production and Design in the School of Film and Television at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

Mr Chung obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media from the University of the West of England. Mr Chung entered the multimedia industry in 2011 and has since contributed to over 100 commercial projects across a wide range of formats, including advertising, feature films, music videos, television, interactive media, and digital content.

Mr Chung’s expertise covers 3D animation, visual effects, motion graphics, and virtual production (XR and ICVFX). He is known for delivering immersive, real-time creative solutions tailored to clients and high-profile productions.

In 2022, Mr Chung served as Director of VFX at Votion Studios (Hong Kong) Limited, where he led VFX pipeline development, provided creative direction, and oversaw virtual environment integration for virtual production. Since 2023, he has shared his industry expertise as a guest lecturer at the Academy of Film at Hong Kong Baptist University and the School of Continuing and Professional Education at City University of Hong Kong, mentoring the next generation of filmmakers and creative professionals in digital media and animation.

Mr Chung’s independent animated projects have garnered international recognition, including an award at 11th DigiCon6 and the Hong Kong ICT Award in 2009.
