Mr Eric Lau is a Lecturer in Film-Tech and Virtual Production in the School of Film and Television at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

Mr Lau obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Mr Lau is an experienced media producer, director, and photographer. His work Wheelchair won the Distinguish Award at the Independent Short Film & Video Awards and was nominated for Best Independent Short Film at the 7th Golden Bauhinia Awards in 2002. The film was also invited to be screened at prestigious international events, including the Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand and the Pusan International Film Festival. 

With extensive industry experience, Mr Lau has directed and participated in a wide range of productions, including television commercials, music videos, large-scale corporate conference videos, and television programs.
