KAKKAR Mohit

Biography

Mohit has a BFA in Theatre Sound Design from California Institute of The Arts and an MFA in Film Production Emphasis in Sound Design from Chapman University, California. He has worked on episodic television serial post-production in Los Angeles for major networks NBC & CBS. He has closely associated with popular shows namely The Strain (VR promo), Parenthood, About A Boy, Jane the Virgin and Extant.

Mohit has a vast understanding of sound, and has made contributions to several areas of the entertainment industry especially Theatre, Live Events, Theme Parks, Film Production and Post Production. Previous major involvements include Roy Edna Disney CalArts theatre (REDCAT), Halloween Horror Nights (Universal Studios, Hollywood) and CLSA event at Shaw Studios (HK).

Mohit’s recent notable achievement is his sound design on the feature length documentary The Helper, which released in Hong Kong theatres mid 2017 and still showing.
