New VR Equipment Available in the Library

We are pleased to announce that VR (Virtual Reality) equipment (Apple Vision Pro and HTC VIVE XR Elite) is now available for use by staff and students in Library Seminar Room C.

Why do we restrict use of VR equipment Seminar Room C?
VR requires a controlled environment to ensure safety, comfort, and performance:
•    Adequate Space: Sufficient space is necessary for safe head and arm movement.
•    Belongings Security: Your personal items can be kept safe while you are immersed.
•    Fixed Setup: The HTC VIVE XR Elite is permanently installed and calibrated in Room C.
•    Reduced Noise: Use of equipment in the room minimizes distractions and prevents disturbance to others.

How to Book
To use the VR equipment, you will need book Seminar Room C 3 days in advance and complete the online form provided in the Seminar Room Booking confirmation email.
