For the protection of all library users and staff, both Academy Library and FTV Library will implement the following measures after their re-opening on 1 June to enhance the hygiene and cleanliness of all library areas, materials and facilities:
 

Library Materials

• All new and returned materials will be cleaned and sterilized before re-shelving

• Alcohol wipes are available on request for cleaning keyboards or books from the shelves

• A UV+Ozone book sterilizer will be available in the Academy Library very soon
   

Library Facilities

• More regular cleaning of facilities with special attention to:
  - Table top
  - Handrail and door handles
  - Keyboard and mouse
  - Touchscreen of photocopiers
• Acrylic partitions have been added to long tables and service counters
• Seating has been re-arranged to maintain social distancing
• Hand sanitizers are available at counters, study areas and seminar rooms

To make the Libraries a safe place for all, we request your cooperation in observing the following guidelines when using the library:

• Maintain social distancing
• Keep hands clean
• Wear a face mask
