Training Camp Venue: The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Fee: Free of Charge
Eligibility: Musicians aged 16–26 from the Greater Bay Area
Application Period: 1 April 2026 to 1 May 2026
Selection Process: Interested and eligible musicians should fill in the online application form by 1 May 2026. Review of application starts immediately after the application deadline. Official result will be announced on or before 1 July 2026.

Audition Requirement:
1. Videos duration
• The video audition shall last no longer than 10 minutes
• Audition videos must be shot in one take without interruption, without editing and without sound enhancements
2. Requirements
• 2 contrasting solo pieces of not longer than 10 minutes in total
• The applicants must be unaccompanied
• The applicants are advised to state instrument(s), title and composer of your pieces at the beginning of the video
• Woodwind applicants are encouraged to audition on auxiliary instruments(i.e. Flute/Piccolo, Oboe/English Horn, Clarinet/Bass Clarinet/E-flat Clarinet, Bassoon/Contrabasson)
3. Videos quality
• iPhone, iPad, laptop and digital camera are allowed but make sure that the device is placed at an appropriate distance
• Choose the suitable room/environment for recording your video
• Turn off televisions, computer notifications, silence your phone, close all the apps that are running at the background, and shut the windows/doors
• Review your video and audio quality before the upload
4. Video upload & Submission
• Upload the audition video to either Youtube or Bilibili
• Before generating and copying the video URL, please ensure that the video privacy setting is set to “Public” or “Unlisted”
• After copying the URL link, please verify that the link works properly before pasting it into the application form
• Recordings uploaded after the deadline stated in the website will be processed at the discretion of GBAYO
