Artistically directed by Tang Shu-wing, conducted by French guest conductor and music director Béatrice Thiret, and re-edited by filmmaker Jérôme Diamant‑Berger. Built around Henri Diamant‑Berger’s 1921 French silent film The Three Musketeers, the work reimagines the classic through a contemporary dialogue with the Chinese literary masterpiece Water Margin. The visual language of French silent film will be combined with original music composed by students from the Composition and Electronic Music Department and a newly written Cantonese script, performed by students from the School of Music and the School of Drama, and multimedia content created by students from the School of Film and Television.
