The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) is committed to providing an innovative, multidisciplinary and globally-focused education for talented students so that they will be equipped with entrepreneurial skills and leadership mindset for creating their own success. If your students are considering joining our artistic and academic community, the HKAPA Info Day 2023 on 14 October is a valuable opportunity for them to learn more about the programmes and student life at HKAPA. The event features a range of activities, including guided campus tour and talks about the development in six performing arts disciplines.

 

 

The Undergraduate and Post-secondary Programme admissions for the academic year 2024/25 will start from 27 September. Seize the chance to support young talents to pursue a brighter future!

Inspiring Student Documentary Premieres at Info Day 2023

Featuring students from the six Schools of HKAPA, the documentary series, Let Us Shine, showcases our students’ passion and determination in their pursuance of performing arts. We hope that their insightful stories will encourage aspiring talents to follow in their footsteps and see how HKAPA could help them chase their dreams. Join us at the special premiere screening of Let Us Shine at HKAPA Info Day 2023 at 12:00pm. The students featured in the series will attend the premiere in-person to greet the audience. The series will be broadcast online at the same time.

Celebrating the Remarkable Success of the Project A Summer Programme

We are thrilled to inform you that the Project A Summer Programme held between June and August 2023 has attracted over 600 secondary and tertiary students to register for the programme. showcasing their eagerness to embark on a journey of artistic exploration. The programme had an exceptional attendance rate of over 80% and this remarkable turnout is a testament to the students' genuine enthusiasm and commitment to learning.

Project A recap

Also, the Masterclasses and Workshops hosted by our alumni provided our Young Friends of the Academy members with unique opportunities to delve into various artistic disciplines and receive guidance from accomplished professionals. The Finale Screen Sharing as well has burst out passionate and inspiring energy that encouraged the students to trust themselves, explore the things they enjoy, and pursue their dreams. The high level of interaction and engagement during these sessions allowed students to explore the inter-disciplinary nature of different art forms.

 

We look forward to your support in promoting Young Friends of the Academy to your students so that they will gain valuable artistic experiences and be inspired to pursue on their artistic journeys.
