The ABC workshop, developed by UCL Digital Education, has been used extensively across UCL (and the sectopm) to teach the ABC model. Teaching staff can use and download toolkits from the project's website to plan online course content, learning activities, and assessments. This toolkit is a useful resource for blended learning and fully online course planning.
According to DeLozier & Rhodes (2017), flipped classroom is “(t)he practice of assigning lectures outside of class and devoting class time to a variety of learning activities”. Many secondary schools and universities in Hong Kong have adopted the flipped classroom model, which focuses on enhancing students' self-learning skills by having them study course material prior to class so that teachers can focus on group discussion and knowledge consolidation during class. Both are currently self-financed publicly traded companies in the United States. Global students can enroll in courses offered by universities from the EU, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, mainland China, and Hong Kong.
XuetangX was initiated by Tsinghua University and MOE Research Center for Online Education, for the purposes of communication and the application of research in the field of online education. It offers online courses in multiple disciplines and also certificate and degree programs. Launched on 10 October 2013 as the first Chinese MOOC platform.
HKAPA’s Library has subscribed to LinkedIn Learning, an online learning platform which provides over 17,400 courses focused on the development of business, technology, and creative skills with 40 new releases each week. It is also a tool that supports staff’s personal development and students' employment-driven learning needs. Each course is developed and led by experts, and the platform will provide you with recommendations based on your interests.
