Introduction to Canvas
 

 

This workshop introduces you to Canvas, the Academy’s Learning Management System (LMS). This is a hands-on workshop that guides you through some basic features of Canvas. It is designed for teachers new to using Canvas and covers the following topics:

 

• Adjusting course setting and managing participants
• Creating pages and adding different types of content
• Making announcement
• Creating assignments and grading on Canvas
• Using the Gradebook

“Easy Find” helps you quickly browse the latest additions while “Quick Suggest” allows you to submit your purchase suggestions effortlessly. You can receive a special surprise upon installing the app onsite!

Improvising in everyday life means embracing uncertainty, acting without waiting for perfection, and choosing “yes, and” over “no” to build on opportunities. It’s about active listening, learning from mistakes, and staying present to adapt and communicate when plans change. The Library has compiled a list of print and electronic resources on improvisation mindset in everyday life, inviting you to explore its infinite possibilities.

 

Graduate Profiles 2025 for the Schools of Dance, Drama, and TEA have been compiled to celebrate and showcase students’ achievements, talents, and creative journeys. These profiles include images, websites, videos, and Instagram (IG) posts that offer more in‑depth information and promotional highlights. Randomly selected student profiles will also be featured in future newsletters.
