The Academy is looking for a detail-minded executive to render a wide spectrum of executive and research support to senior management. The incumbent will have the following major responsibilities:

  • To assist in policy formulation, procedural review and strategic research;
  • To draft and prepare various documents, including consultation papers, management reports, submissions to government departments and policy bureaux, LegCo panel papers etc.;
  • To support the planning and implementation of the Academy’s initiatives;
  • To conduct data analysis and information research;
  • To liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties for various returns and meetings; and
  • To undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Applicants should have:

(a) Possessed at least 15 years of working experience, of which at least 10 years in policy or procedural review or related areas; 
(b) Prior experience in executive support, and/or working in tertiary institutions, government sector or statutory bodies will be an advantage;
(c) Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills; and
(d) Strong interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

 

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year contract.  Renewal of contract is subject to work performance and operational needs of the Academy.  A gratuity payment equals up to 15% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period.  The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Academy’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, equals 15 % of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits.  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
