New Professional Diploma in Dance

There is a spectrum of career opportunities in Dance, ranging from generalists, who can fill entry level positions in the arts, education and performing arts field, to elite dancers, specialists and leaders for world-class organisations. For those who are interested in entering the professional field of dance, you may consider enrolling in our new 2-year full-time programme.

Student-led social caring project received community recognition

We are pleased to share that our alumna from the School of Chinese Opera Ho Hei-man received the Outstanding Youth Award 2021 organised by Wan Chai District for her positive and caring contributions to the community.

Hei-man was nominated by the Student Recruitment and Community Engagement Office for her project Working Hand in Hand for Promoting Inclusiveness in Chinese Opera sponsored by the JK & Ingrid Lee Foundation Creative Project Fund in  the 2020/21 academic year.

Discover how versatile technical art skills can be

Honouree of InAVate APAC Awards 2019 “40 under 40” and HKAPA alumna Sand Leung recently talked about her career, from being an audio visual (AV) designer to establishing her AV consultancy firm. Her story is a vivid example of how the skills learnt from the School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts (TEA) are not limited to the theatre, but also are applicable to a wide range of industries if students are open to possibilities and continue learning.
