AI-Powered Arts Fusion: Where Traditional Meets Intelligent Performance

This presentation explores the revolutionary intersection of artificial intelligence and performing arts, demonstrating how AWS cloud technologies are enabling a new era of artistic expression that bridges traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge AI capabilities. From real-world implementations across music, dance, theater, and visual arts, in this presentation, we will showcase how AI Agents are transforming creative processes—from AI-assisted composition and choreography optimization to intelligent directing systems and personalized arts education.

The talk will examine three key fusion models: heritage preservation through AI learning of traditional techniques, innovative hybridization creating entirely new art forms, and collaborative creation between human artists and AI Agents. Through live demonstrations and case studies, including AI-enhanced Peking Opera, ballet injury prevention systems, and real-time interactive performances, this presentation illustrates how cloud-native AI solutions are not replacing human creativity but amplifying it.

The session will conclude with insights into the future of arts education, highlighting AWS Bedrock and SageMaker's role in building scalable, low-latency AI systems that support both individual artistic development and large-scale educational transformation. This talk aims to inspire arts educators and practitioners to embrace AI as a creative partner in shaping the next generation of performing arts.
