Supported by the Culture, Sports & Tourism Bureau of HKSAR, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) is the only publicly-funded tertiary institution dedicated to nurturing performing arts professionals in Hong Kong and beyond. The Academy is 10th in the 2026 QS World University Rankings for Performing Arts and the 1st in Asia. We offer diplomas, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes in Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts. We are committed to nurturing a new generation of performing artists and cultural leaders with a global impact, firmly rooted in Hong Kong’s rich East-West cultural heritage. In the past four decades, more than 10,000 artists have graduated from the Academy, going on to become performing artists, creative arts practitioners, filmmakers, educators and cultural leaders with global impact – many have won international awards and shone in their respective artistic fields.
If you are interested in our programme, please join the HKAPA Information Day 2026 which will be held on 19 Sep 2026 (Saturday) at our Wanchai campus.
The Info Day will provide you with the updated information about the admission to 2027/28 undergraduate and post-secondary programmes and the latest insights on the future development of performing arts, filmmaking, creative media and technical arts with a range of activities, including guided campus tour and admission talks. A special highlight is the “Your Enquiry Matters” student sharing session about practical tips and advice on interviews and auditions.
