How to Register
- Documents for Verification
Admitted students are required to submit their original academic credentials for verification after accepting the admission offers. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to register and commence their studies at HKAPA.
- Student Registration
The Registry will send the Notification of Student Registration via email to applicants who have confirmed the admissions offers in due course. The Notification of Student Registration will include the details of the in-person registration in August and the required documents to be submitted:
- Identification Documents*;
- Originals of Certificates/Reports of Public Examinations;
- Originals of Award Certificate/Certification Letter/Transcripts/Academic Reports; and
- Other documents as stated in the Notification of Student Registration.

*Applicants are required to present the following identification documents at the in-person registration.
Local students- Hong Kong Identity Card.
Mainland students
- Mainland Identity Card;
- Exit-Entry Permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao; and
- Landing slip received upon arrival of Hong Kong.
International students
- Passport; and
- Landing slip received upon arrival of Hong Kong.
Student Card, Network Identity and Email Account
- Student Identity Card
All enrolled students will be issued a Student Identity Card upon successful registration. The Student Identity Card is a smart card that the Academy will use for identification purposes and will enable students to access facilities in the Academy, such as the Library and Computer Lab.
- Network Identity and Email Account
At the time of registration, each student will be assigned a network identity and an initial password for accessing various IT services and communication purposes. Students should immediately change the pre-set password.
