Throughout the year, SRCE offers various performing arts activities and events for secondary school students to get valuable exposure to performing arts, stimulating their imagination and creativity, cultivating sense of aesthetics and appreciation of arts, and achieving whole-person development.
Expert Talks & School Talks

For students who are interested in developing a career in performing arts, the Student Recruitment and Community Engagement has specially arranged a series of Expert Talks and School Talks to introduce the latest trends in the industry and the undergraduate degree programmes offered by HKAPA. These talks are delivered by performing arts professionals and veteran instructors from HKAPA’s schools and cover 6 subject areas of performing arts: Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts. All talks are free of charge and are suitable for over 20 students. Please contact us for reserving your sessions or enquiries.
Creative Journey

Creative Journey is an outreach programme which offers a wide range of performing arts activities in Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts, including stage performances, workshops, film screenings, exhibition guided tours, and pre-show backstage guided tours, etc. Secondary school students will have the chance to enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons in history, culture and social phenomena through performing arts experiences.

Opera Scenes School Tour

To strengthen the connection with local secondary schools and raise secondary students’ interest in classical music and opera singing, the vocal students of the School of Music present scenes from different operas at secondary schools on a regular basis.
Young Friends of the Academy

Young Friends of the Academy is an arts education and audience development programme of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) tailored for secondary school and tertiary students aged 25 or below. Young people who enroll as members will enjoy valuable opportunities of attending performances, rehearsals and workshops, as well as expert talks and backstage tour for free.
Go APA Goal

"Go APA Goal" is an integrated life planning programme that offers career talks, student/alumni sharing and campus tour tailored for secondary school students. The activty is open for application via District Offices or NGOs with 30 or more participants.
Monthly General Admission talk with Campus Tour

The monthly activity is open to schools and organisations with prospective students who would like to learn about the general admission requirement of the Undergraduate and Post-secondary Programmes offered by the Academy and about our physical facilities.
