The “Opera Scenes School Tour” was successfully conducted at Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School on 21 November 2025 after visiting the school for the first time in 2019. Under the direction of Professor Nancy Yuen, students from the Department of Vocal Studies presented a selection of opera scenes, including excerpts from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Gounod’s Faust, Puccini’s La Bohème, and Delibes’ Lakmé.
A highlight of the visit was the participation of a Vocal Studies student who is also an alumnus of Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School. After the performance, he shared his learning journey at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, which generated strong interest among the students. Principal Mr Cheng Kai-lam thanked the Academy for organising the visit and looked forward to enjoying more outstanding performances by Academy students in the future.
