The “Opera Scenes School Tour” visited Heung To Secondary School (Tseung Kwan O) on 5 December 2025. of Professor Nancy Yuen, students from the Department of Vocal Studies presented a semi staged performance featuring excerpts from several well known operas, including Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Gounod’s Faust, Delibes’ Lakmé, and Puccini’s La Bohème. The performance not only showcased the artistry of vocal music, but also brought the theatrical characters vividly to life through thoughtfully designed costumes and staging elements, earning positive feedback from teachers and students.
The event effectively broadened students’ artistic exposure and further their interest and appreciation for vocal performance.
