The Academy provides free shuttle bus service for students to commute between Wanchai Campus and Bethanie Campus from Monday to Friday (except public holidays or non-teaching periods). 

The arrangements of the shuttle bus service will be announced at the beginning of each semester by Academy Email.

Hong Kong's pharmacies are well-stocked, but if you require prescription medication or prefer specific brands, you may consider bringing it along with you. Insect repellent could be useful in the summer months.

Primary Health Care on Campus

Stethoscope with solid fillThe Academy has an on-campus clinic providing primary health care services for all full-time students during teaching period. In general, medical consultation is free of charge, medication fee for not more than 3-day’s medicine is HK$15.

Physiotherapy Services on Campus

The Academy has a student physiotherapy clinic provides physiotherapy consultation and treatment, emergency management of injuries (especially for sports injuries), and physical training advice for all full-time students. Physiotherapy treatment may include electrotherapy, exercise therapy, manual therapy, bandaging, taping, orthotic aids, or advice. The Physiotherapist is available for consultation on an appointment basis, which is free of charge.  Medical consultations from an Orthopaedic Specialist are also available to students on a need basis.

Public Hospital Care

Specialist care and hospitalization are available at the public clinics and general wards of government hospitals.

The nearest Ruttonjee Hospital provides accident and emergency services, and other selected specialist services. The charge for those holding a Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID card) is subsidized. Non-local students without an HKID card are required to pay full fees for services and hospitalization in government hospitals.

Group Personal Accident Insurance for Student

Health And Safety with solid fill The Academy’s Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy included primary provisions for students against accidental death, permanent total disability, and accidental medical expenses arising from the events/activities organized by the Academy. Details are available at the intranet. Students may choose to purchase their own insurance if necessary.
