The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Alumni Association successfully held the Standard Mental Health First Aid Course on January 10-11, 2026. Over the two-day course, participants learned foundational knowledge in mental health, including various mental health conditions, methods for early identification of symptoms, appropriate response and support techniques, as well as local mental health support organizations and resources. Participants also learned the core principles of mental health first aid. All attendees successfully completed the final assessment and were awarded certificates.
The Association sincerely thanks instructors Yanis and Alice for their professional, sincere, and empathetic guidance in leading participants through mental health topics and for sharing practical, life-oriented knowledge and experience. We also extend our gratitude to all alumni who attended for their active engagement, which fostered an open and supportive learning atmosphere. Many attendees expressed that the course content not only aids in personal health management but is also applicable in teaching and professional environments.
