And of these three things — Faith, Hope, and Love: What remains?
Love, family, faith, and desire collide in this poignant 1960s British drama that explores the profound complexities of a young woman's life. The story follows Zoe, a 22-year-old young woman at the crossroads of a changing society, torn between the doctrines of her Catholic faith, the pain of her parents' divorce, and taboo attractions that threaten to shatter her world.
Through flashbacks and the shifting perspectives of those left behind, the play unravels the complexities of relationships that tried to love but ultimately failed her. A Scent of Flowers is a lyrical mystery of the human soul, asking what lingering trace we leave behind when the secrets of a life are finally brought to light.
