When night falls, the world's most unique and mysterious tribe—the Jellicle Cats—gather here to perform their grand annual ritual: the Jellicle Ball.
Tonight's focus, however, is not mere celebration, but a solemn choice: the wisest of their elders, the venerable "Old Deuteronomy," must select which cat is most worthy of receiving a new life and ascending to the heavenly realm above. Thus, each participating cat takes the stage to share their life experiences, hoping to be chosen as the one granted rebirth.
