16 Mar (Mon) - 21 Mar (Sat)
On a bright golden beach, eight people gather to bask in the light, but the real heat comes from their own proximity. What begins as a simple afternoon by the water quickly sharpens into a series of pointed confrontations across generations and relationships.
Through 21 fast-paced scenes, Albee strips away the pleasantries of the "happy family holiday". From a mother’s overbearing devotion to her teenage son to an elderly couple facing the finality of the sunset, Finding the Sun is a lean, witty "fugue on loneliness". It is a play about the inevitable "tarnish" of life and the desperate, often funny, ways we try to stay in the light.
