The Programme Assistant (Music) will support the Dean and report to the Executive Officer of the School of Music, providing essential administrative and clerical assistance. Key responsibilities include office administration, venue and equipment bookings, updating student records, assisting with Academy and School events, managing examination arrangements, maintaining course details and registrations, supporting teaching staff, ensuring facility upkeep, and performing other duties as assigned.

 

Applicants should have:
(a) At least 5 subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above in the HKCEE/HKDSEE, including English Language
(Syllabus B) and Chinese Language or equivalent;
(b) Good computer keyboard skills and knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Google Form and Chinese word-processing;
(c) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is essential;
(d) Good organisational and interpersonal skill; and
(e) Ability to perform multi-tasks and work independently.

 

Those who do not have 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE need not apply.

 

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement.  A gratuity payment equals up to 10% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period.  The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Academy’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, equals 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits.  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
