The 2nd Academy Festival Presents: TEA Graduate Exhibition 2018

The School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts (TEA) of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA)will bepresenting TEA Graduate Exhibition 2018in mid-June. Being part of the 2ndAcademy Festival, the event aims to showcase talents of graduating students while providing high-quality programme on theatre design for the public for free.

TEA Graduate Exhibition 2018displays the magnum opus of more than 40 graduating students from 12 major study areas of 3 departments including Set and Costume Design, Costume Technology, Property Making, Scenic Art, Scenic Construction, Lighting Design, Lighting Technology, Sound Design, Sound System Design, Music Production, Stage and Event Management and Technical Direction. The graduates will soon be the emerging force in the theatre industry.

The annual Academy Festival showcases the talent and vitality of students from the Academy’s six Schools – Chinese Opera, Dance, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts. It provides an opportunity for the public to celebrate the efforts of graduating classes while experiencing the entire performing art experience. The first Academy Festival was met with inaugural success and support from a broad spectrum of the Hong Kong community. The 2ndAcademy Festival presents a series of performances and activities including Cantonese opera, dance, drama, concerts, exhibitions, screenings and sharing sessions.
