Map of Wan Chai is a community arts project which presents the stories of the Wan Chai District through 100 items displayed by a map in the form of a handmade style book and an exhibition. Residents, visitors, and those who work and study in Wan Chai can explore the district in depth by following the map. It was a collaborative effort with Wan Chai residents and NGOs. 

The BGCA Cheerland Nursery School cum Kindergarten (Wanchai) was a major partner of this project. The project team held workshops with 14 K3 students and led them on tours to explore Wan Chai. After each workshop, students recorded their experience with drawings and shared their experience in class. Some of their works were incorporated into the handmade style book. The students were invited to attend and perform at the opening ceremony of the exhibition at the Academy. 

Copies of the Map of Wan Chai handmade style book are now displayed at local shops and community venues.
