The Academy Alumni Association is now organizing a “Standard Mental Health First Aid Course” for members. This course will be conducted by certified Mental Health First Aid instructors and registered psychiatric nurses from the Hong Kong Mental Health Association. Participants will learn about common mental health issues and their symptoms, as well as how to provide support or relief for individuals facing emotional or mental distress, helping to prevent further deterioration of their condition. In addition to receiving a "Mental Health First Aid (Standard Edition)" course manual, all participants who complete the entire 16-hour course will be awarded a certificate of completion issued by the Hong Kong Mental Health Association.
Couse content：
✅ Mental Health First Aid concepts and principles
✅ Recognizing signs of depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and major psychiatric disorders
✅ Communication and listening skills for engaging with individuals in distress
✅ Understanding community resources and information
