Creativity

Creativity is considered central to the performing arts, but it is in many ways an illusive concept. Can it be taught and developed, or is it something that you are born with? Will a creative individual in one field be able to transfer this skill to other domains? What does creativity look like from a neurological perspective? Is it a unique and special happening in the brain?

Joining Louise Lee and Robert Wells (The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts) to discuss these and other questions, will be Professor Paula Thomson (California State University, Northridge), Professor Jonathan Plucker (Johns Hopkins University) and Dr. Kai Zhou (University at Albany).
