
In the 4th round of submission in 2023/24, four community engaging projects have been selected. The first one concerns teenagers and the issue of cyberbullying - Bullying Everywhere All At Once by students from School of Drama raise awareness and . The second one is Sound Connects that presented a multimedia and chamber music concert that specifically catered for the needs of SEN students from studetns of School of Music. The third we had Unlocking Potentials, an innovative workshop for teenagers using dance and Art-Tech which was led by a corss-discipline team from Schools of Dance, Film and Television and Music. The last one is Move To that taught the visual impaired how to dance.
Bullying Everywhere All At Once - Applied Theatre to Address Cyberbullying

This student-led project from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts used applied theatre to address cyberbullying. Through interactive performances and workshops, it engaged over 260 secondary students, promoting understanding, dialogue, and solutions. Supported by the Hong Kong Playground Association, the program ran from January to July 2024 in local schools.
Sound Connects: Fostering Inclusivity with SEN Students and Underprivileged Students

Sound Connects was a project held from February to July 2024, aimed at promoting inclusivity and accessibility. Through musical interactivity, multimedia concerts, and creative workshops, it provided a platform for underprivileged students and those with special educational needs (SEN) to engage, explore, and express themselves. The project inspired participants to challenge stereotypes, unlock their creative potential, and foster greater societal understanding of inclusion and equality, bridging gaps within marginalized communities.
Unlocking Potentials: Disabled Students Dancing Through Art-Tech

The Unlocking Potentials workshops were designed for students with physical disabilities in Hong Kong special schools. Led by EDulT’s team and technology experts, the project introduced AI tools like 3D modeling, motion capture, and music generation, allowing students to explore new forms of self-expression through dance and technology. This initiative aimed to share performing arts and technology knowledge, foster creativity, and inspire students to overcome challenges, unlocking their potential and redefining their possibilities.
Move To - Dance Workshop for Visually Impaired
