Support the Next Generation of Creative Talent

As HKAPA enters an exciting new chapter of growth and development, we remain committed to ensuring that talented young artists are able to access the opportunities and education that allow them to thrive. HKAPA Scholarships play a vital role in this mission, helping students pursue their education and realise their artistic potential, while enabling the Academy to attract and nurture the next generation of performers, creators and cultural leaders.

We would like to invite you to join us in this mission of nurturing future talent and attend the HKAPA Charity Gala Screening of Afterpiece (《第四幕》) on Saturday, 17 October 2026 at the Lyric Theatre, HKAPA. More than a film screening, this special evening will bring together alumni, friends and supporters of the Academy to raise funds for HKAPA Scholarships. Every donation of HK$1,000 will entitle you to one complimentary ticket to the Screening.

HKAPA's Contribution to a Celebrated Production

Movie Synopsis

Once-famous stage director Owen, struggling with a decade of creative drought and a crumbling marriage, decides to reclaim his dignity by writing and starring in a new play.

During auditions, he meets Hanna, a novice whose unique presence sparks a deep connection. As they enter each other’s lives, the production descends into chaos: an ambitious young boss pressures him, his former partner Melinda forces her way into the lead role, and his wife Tracy drifts toward an affair. Spiraling into madness, Owen blurs the line between the stage and reality.

Despite the turmoil, he fights to keep Hanna in the spotlight—only to face an irreversible catastrophe on opening night.
