The Recital Hall of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (the Academy) has been named after The Society of the Academy for Performing Arts as “The Society of APA Recital Hall”, in appreciation of the long-standing and unwavering support by SAPA.
Academy Council Chairman Mr Charles Yang SBS JP and Academy Director Professor Anna CY Chan expressed their sincere gratitude for SAPA’s enduring commitment to the Academy. “Over the years, the scholarships supported by SAPA have been instrumental for the Academy to recruit the best students and recognise students with outstanding artistic talents and academic performance. We are deeply grateful to SAPA and all past and present members of its Executive Committee for their dedication and devotion in raising the much-needed scholarship funds for the Academy.”
SAPA Joint Presidents Dr Sophia Kao Lo GBS JP and Ms Charmaine Ho remarked, “As a long-term partner and supporter of the Academy, we are proud of its achievements in nurturing performing artists and professionals, as well as its significant contribution to the development of arts and culture in Hong Kong. The naming of the Recital Hall is a testament to the strong partnership between SAPA and the Academy.
