The postholder reports to the Head of Student Affairs. He/she will provide the full-range of physiotherapy services for students of the Academy, including providing physiotherapy treatments for majority of musculoskeletal injuries, planning and implementing functional rehabilitation programmes, promoting wellness and monitoring students’ injury status, and providing emergency/first-aid treatment for staff and students.
To support and work with the Physiotherapist of the Academy’s Student Physiotherapy Clinic, the postholder will also oversee the operation of the Physiotherapy Clinic and its associated Gymnasium Room.
The appointee will work on weekdays for a maximum of 16 hours per week during teaching period.
Applicant should:
(a) Have a recognised degree in Physiotherapy;
(b) Be registered with the Hong Kong Physiotherapists Board and holds a valid practicing certificate;
(c) Have at least two years of post-qualification clinical or on-field practice and rehabilitation experiences;
(d) Have good command of spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua; and
(e) Preferably have experience/knowledge in performing art, gymnastics, or sports therapy; and
(f) Good manual and sports taping techniques will be an advantage.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment will be from early October 2025 to end of May 2026. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
