HKAPA Presents: HKSAR 25th Anniversary Celebration Concert with Livestream
The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) will present the HKSAR 25th Anniversary Celebration Concert on July 8, 2022, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR. This special concert features distinguished soloists, composer, and conductor from the Academy. With generous support from the Swire Group, the concert will be livestreamed on the Academy website and live broadcast on RTHK TV for members of the public in Hong Kong and the Mainland to join and celebrate this joyous occasion.

Virtual Open Day of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Let us be empowered by the performing arts and embrace all challenges ahead together! Jockey Club Dance Well Project - HKAPA’s School of Dance Presents Introductory Talks on Dance and Parkinson’s Disease
The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) will present Online Introductory Talks on Dance and Parkinson’s Disease on April 8 and 14, 2022, following the positive response of the first talk on April 6. As part of the Train-the-Trainer Programme of the Jockey Club Dance Well Project, the free events will be mainly conducted in English and registration is required.

The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts has remained 1st in Asia for four consecutive years and ranks 10th in the world for two consecutive years in the latest QS World University Rankings’ Performing Arts category.

HKAPA Welcomes the Budget 2022-23
The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts welcomes the proposal of allocating additional resources to promote arts and culture, announced in today’s Budget briefing. Academy Director, Professor Gillian Choa, is pleased to see the proposed increase of resources in the performing arts, cultural and arts sectors, arts technology, and the heritage of Cantonese opera, all of which align with the long time strategic goals of the Academy.
