The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is the largest English-medium international school organisation in Hong Kong. Students of EFS who were interested in studying performing arts had joined the mock class of Pearson BTEC Musical Theatre Programme offered by Extension and Continuing Education for Life (EXCEL) of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) on 20 January 2020.

Professor Michael Li, the Academy’s Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning, had identified the characteristics of those having the potential to become a performing artist and encourage them to chase for their dreams. Through this activity, we fostered more communications with teachers and students from local international schools; in addition, we had promoted the Principal’s Recommendation Scheme to the students. They were very happy to learn about this scheme.
