The Academy is establishing a three-year Special Project Team under the Director’s Office to support the strategic implementation of the Academy’s 2024–2033 Strategic Plan. The team will oversee the Academy’s signature projects, provide centralised project support across the institution, and drive key cross-Academy initiatives. We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead this new team and play a pivotal role in advancing the Academy’s long-term strategic priorities.

 

Reporting to the Director’s Office, this role primarily involves planning, delivering, and managing two key institutional initiatives: the Academy-wide Sustainability Project and strategic planning for the future innovation hub. The Project Manager will also oversee signature projects within the Academy, leading the Project Team to collaborate closely with the Schools and other departments to ensure effective planning, coordination, delivery, and reporting. The role requires close cooperation with Directorate Offices, Schools, and central administrative units to promote cross-functional engagement, align resources, and guarantee that all projects meet the Academy’s strategic goals.

 

Applicants should have:

(a)   A bachelor’s degree from a tertiary institution; 

(b)   At least 8 years of experience in arts programme/project management and/or arts & creative industry leadership roles;

(c)   Proven experience in stakeholder management, cross-unit collaboration, and project oversight;

(d)   Strong interpersonal skills with good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua; and

(e)   Strong organisational, financial management and leadership skills.

 

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT

Appointment will be on a one-year contract with the possibility of renewal, subject to mutual agreement, up to three years.  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
