The School of Dance of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts will organize a Community Dance Project (the ‘Project’) from September 2025 for 3 years.  The Project is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and aims to include people with Parkinson’s Disease through dance in the artistic and social life of Hong Kong.   The project includes four core components: Train-the-Trainers Programme, Community Dance Workshops, Teaching Resource Development and Impact Studies.  

 

The postholder will execute administrative duties and daily project coordination, including accounting and procurement procedures, booking of venue and equipment, project costing and reporting, and management of social media platform and digital technologies, and to perform routine office duties.

 

Applicants should have:
(a) A bachelor’s degree from a tertiary institution;
(b) Normally, at least 1 year of experience in project management, marketing and related area;
(c) Solid experience in managing social media platforms (ie, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat, Weibo and etc); and
(d) Knowledge of accounting and procurement management, and computer literacy (such as website building and management, video editing) is preferred.


TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a one-year contract with the possibility of renewal, subject to mutual agreement, up to three years. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
