Programme Specific Requirements and Supporting Documents for Admissions

Master of Fine Arts in Cinema Production

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in related and associated disciplines, such as visual arts, media and communications, multimedia, drama, creative writing, arts and business management, law, journalism, music composition, film studies, and education, and can demonstrate relevant production skills, experience or aptitude.

 

In addition to the general admission requirements, applicants are also required to submit the following supporting materials:

  • At least two 30-minute video files of applicant's relevant work in film production (with original subtitles and English subtitles) in the role of director, producer, cinematographer, editor, production designer and/or sound designer; or
  • At least two 30-minute screenplays of applicant's relevant work in the role of screenwriter (in original language and English).
