Note: Under exceptional circumstances, the Academy may accept late applications. Application after deadline will incur an additional late fee.
Submission of Application
Completed application form should be submitted BY MAIL or IN PERSON to the Registry before the application deadline. For application by post, the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application.

A non-refundable fee of HK$300 will be charged for each application. For local applicants, the application fee must be paid before submission of the application form. This may be done at any branch office of the Bank of China (Account No. 012-875-00525556).
For non-local applicants, a bank draft of HK$300 should be made payable to "The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts". Personal cheque and cash will not be accepted.
Application submit after deadline will incur an additional HK$250 late fee.
Application who has applied for another programme is required to submit a separate application form and pay an additional application fee of HK$300 for that other programme.
Documents to be Submitted
Applicants are required to submit the application fee reciept, or bank draft together with their completed application forms. Application forms that are not accompanied by the application fee receipt will not be processed.
Applicants are also required to provide the following materials in support of their applications:
- Photocopies of all official transcripts from previous institutions, perferably with certified in English translation if the transcripts are not originally in English;
- Current résumé;
- 300-500 word statement of intent regarding programme of study;
- Two letters of reference. These should be from the Dean, Head of Department, and/or principal teacher at undergraduate institution, and/or professionals in the field; and
- Digital files with audio/video recordings/photograph and/or portfolio required for master's programmes.
Applicants may be required at a later stage to produce their Hong Kong ID Cards or other identification documents upon request by the Academy in order to verify the personal data given in their applications.
If an applicant makes false statement(s) or omits significant information in the application form, her/his application may be disqualified, or the Academy may withdraw or amend any offers, or terminate her/his registration/studies after admission. Any fees paid will not be refunded.
